Eastern Sky At Sunset From The Strand Field Cliff – Sold

One of those rare occasions where the sky in the East reflects the setting sun in the west in spectacular colours.
January Sunset Over Rock Pools In Garryvoe

Ballycotton Island on an April Evening – Sold

This is the island as seen from my house looking south. I have to thank my sister who alerted me to the unusual light on the buildings that evening. Sold.
View of Ballinwilling Strand Looking East – Sold

This was painted in early Spring, 2012 and to keep out of the cold air, I would sit in the front passenger seat of my car and paint what I saw outside the windscreen. This is a nice, quiet beach about a mile east of Garryvoe beach.
Spring View of Garryvoe

This is the fourth painting of the same view, so I’ve all four seasons covered. Springs in previous years had harsh weather, so in 2011 with a pleasant April, my opportunity came.
Summer View of Garryvoe
This is the first of my views of Garryvoe the place where I live. The view is from one of our fields, the ‘High Field’. I had been wanting to do this view for a few years before getting around to doing it. At the time, it was a very ambitious goal. The sky appealed to me a lot, I like how over in the east and south opposite to where the sun sets, the sky goes purple to a deep blue near the horizon.
Painted from 28th June to 23rd September, 2006.
